Reading the other 4 reviews, I'm glad to see I'm not alone. Though I will say that I actually liked the smell of the dry powder when I originally opened it up. A mouth-watering maple scent with only a hint of onions that actually got me excited to give it a taste. I immediately made a batch and let it sit overnight so I could drink it at work.

Work comes and I gave it a taste... and I immediately frowned. Much like how something good makes you involuntarily smile, this drink made me frown involuntarily. It's like the waffles and onions sat out in the sun all morning, then sat out in the moon all night. Rancid, to put it mildly. I took 3 sips to confirm my opinion of the drink before I had to rush to a local gas station and buy a different energy drink (all within the 8 minutes I had left on my lunch break).

But it doesn't end there. I brought it home, intending on pouring it down the drain like a civilized person. But when I opened my shake cup up, the drink punched me in the face with a scent so foul I had to get out of the kitchen. Changing my mind on pouring down the drain, I instead had to give it the Old Yeller and dumped it out behind the shed. I then had to light a candle to get rid of the scent I would describe as "Ogre's Breath".

Was it my fault that I bought a drink marketed as "Onions and Waffles"? Yes. Was it the point that this flavor is awful? Probably. But, yeah, congratulations: GFuel made a terrible product and I bought it. Bad decisions all around.

My co-workers and I share and try new G-fuel flavors together, so we thought it would be fun to try this new flavor. When I opened the container I smelled it and then smelled it again, and it smelled strongly of onions. I took one sip and it was absolutely foul, just horrid. If you are someone who likes, no, LOVES onions, then you will like this! If you are indifferent about onions, do not waste your money on this.

Shrek would definitely approve.

Onions and waffles smells and tastes exactly as described. It is memorable, not for most people, and I've found best when paired with eating oniony food. What a bold and daring challenge! Thank you!

I gave it 5 stars for being exactly as described and the risk and creativity in making it! I gave it legendary taste because again, it tastes exactly as described and one to be remembered!

While it is not my favorite flavor and it won't be gotten often, it definitely is one to be pulled out for the unique situations it will work best with and to as a fun challenge for friends!
