Fortnite World Cup Preview And Predictions
After four months of competitions, the Fortnite World Cup Finals is finally here. From July 26-28, the top Fortnite players in the world gather under one roof to see who truly is the best of the best.
We're here to preview the weekend of Fortnite action from the first drop to the last Victory Royale.
Fortnite Pro-Am
The biggest names in Fortnite will once again be teaming with some of the most famous musicians, actors and athletes in the world at the Fortnite Pro-Am today. 50 duos, consisting of one Fortnite player and one celebrity, will compete to see who can outlast one another and claim the big money for their charity.
Some of the best duos from previous Pro-Am’s will be back including Ninja & Marshmello and Airwaks & RL Grime. Ninja & Marshmello won the first ever Fortnite Pro-Am, which was held over E3 weekend in 2018, while Airwaks and RL Grime emerged victorious just last month.
One team to watch out for is Ewok and Jordan Fisher. Ewok recently gained famed for her stellar Fortnite play despite being just 13 years old and deaf. Meanwhile, Fisher is a constant presence on Twitch, routinely streaming his Fortnite games with some of the biggest names in the industry.
And of course, we'll also be rooting for the amazing G FUEL-sponsored ActionJaxonBTW and ONE_shot_GURL today at 4 PM ET. 🙂
Fortnite World Cup Duos Finals
Once the Pro-Am and the World Cup Creative events are done today (don't forget to watch FaZe Cizzorz compete in the Creative World Cup today at 1 PM ET!), the event truly gets underway with the Fortnite World Cup Duos event on July 27.
Though a competitive field of tandems, the G FUEL-sponsored duo of Tschinken and Stompy are the favorites. The tandem has now been playing together for over a year and have learned to work incredibly well together.
Stompy previously told G FUEL, “I scream a lot when I play and [Tschinken] kind of balances me out. They need to have a similar attitude and work ethic - needs to be a level of trust and belief in each other. My comms aren’t the absolute best so Tschinken really understands me and is always able to come clutch and support me where it’s needed.”

Watching Fortnite Duos is always intriguing for the audience. Understanding how the two players work off one another. Some teams consist of a very aggressive and a more support-orientated partner. Other teams are divided by shooter and looter. The team dynamic is so varied and duo-dependent that you can watch virtually any tandem and be entertained.
The Duos Finals preshow kicks off on Fortnite's Twitch at 12:30 PM ET on July 27 with the games themselves starting at 1:00 PM ET.
Fortnite World Cup Solos Finals
The main event of the weekend is the Fortnite World Cup Solos event. 40 million players competed for their chance to win a spot in the event but only 100 made the cut. These 100 are the absolutely the who’s who from the Fortnite community.
Who wins the Solos is anyone’s guess. The presumptive favorites are Tfue and Bizzle. The two have widely been considered the best Fortnite players by the community while sitting first and second in the all-time earnings list per esportsearnings.com.
But again, this field is absolutely wide open and you could very easily see the likes of Stompy or Rhux – both G FUEL-sponsored players – taking home the Victory Royale.
The Solos Finals games will kick-off over on Twitch at 1:00 PM ET on July 28.
