Fortnite Winter Royale 2019 Day 2 Standings

Upon the conclusion of day 1 of Fortnite Winter Royale 2019, we witnessed multiple household names making their mark over the course of the day and throughout multiple regions. Of course, day 1was also the day where perhaps the strangest scoring format was on display. The only placements that were rewarded were for people who managed to get a victory royale in a match. Day 2 of the event kicked off earlier today with multiple regions trying out the new scoring format.

Two points would be given for every placement a duo gets starting at a certain point. This would continue to be rewarded as the match progressed and you and your duo stayed alive longer. This format would also reward one point for each elimination, which is the norm Fortnite has adopted for the scoring format. This new day of non-stop Fortnite was once again filled with action all the way to the end of North America West. With Epic Games rewarding over $23 million in prize money over the course of the weekend, this was perhaps the most notable day for household name players to make their mark during Winter Royale 2019. We’ll once again take you through the whole standings across all regions for PC, Console, and Mobile!

Europe

Yesterday, we highlighted the sheer dominance that certain duos displayed throughout the first European session. We saw the likes of mitr0 and crr almost take the top spot. And we saw North America hopefuls from Team Liquid crack into the top 30. Day 2 of Winter Royale was a closely contested matchup between some of the best duos in the world.

NRG’s Benjyfishy and Mongraal from G FUEL-sponsored FaZe Clan placed fifth in their home region. The pair showcased the promise the community put on their shoulders when they announced their pairing.

North America East

Next on the board was North America East. The region produced some high octane matches yesterday with some notable duos making a statement throughout the session. One of the key points throughout the session yesterday was the number of European players placing high in the leaderboard. This was the opposite of how North Americans faired in Europe yesterday as they were unable to place high for the most part.

Today, we witnessed LZR Kreo and Envy Bucke come out on top of the PC side. The newly formed duo placed high throughout multiple regions yesterday and carried their dominance over to today as well. Other notable duos to place high during the second session was the Fortnite World Cup champion Bugha and his partner Liquid Stretch. They managed to place third this session. Mitr0 and crr once again displayed their skill in the North American region. They performed well and placed in the top ten as well.
