I purchased this G FUEL product brand new, but when I opened it, there was no protective inner seal. The sealing rim around the opening was also visibly dirty, as shown in the photo.
Because this is a consumable product, I was not comfortable using something that arrived in this condition. I contacted G FUEL customer service and explained the issue, but they refused to provide either a replacement or a refund.
I find this extremely disappointing. A brand-new consumable product should arrive properly sealed and in clean condition, and I expected the company to take a packaging/safety concern like this more seriously.
I would not purchase again based on both the condition in which the product arrived and the response I received from customer service.
Note regarding the taste rating: The website requires me to select a taste rating in order to submit this review. I did not taste or consume the product because it arrived without a protective seal and with visible dirt/residue around the sealing rim. Therefore, the taste rating I was forced to select does not reflect my opinion of the flavor.
