Pre-show

Ubisoft held a pre-show that focused on some of their smaller announcements. Some of these reveals, however, were fantastic in their own right; and we are sure fans of the respected series could not be more pleased.

Here’s some of the news from the pre-show:

  • Far Cry is getting a VR mode called “Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity” that will take players back to Far Cry 3's Rock Islands. It will release sometime in 2021 and feature only multiplayer.
  • Agos: A Game Of Space is a new VR title releasing on October 28, 2020, for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve Index.
  • More updates are coming to The Crew 2. There will be a new season structure, Season 1 kicks off in November, and every season will have a theme lasting four months.
  • Roller Champions is still on track to release sometime in Q1 of 2021.
  • A new For Honor season, Year 4 Season 3 Resistance, will release on September 17, 2020.

There were a few more minor announcements, but we know you want us to get into the good stuff.

Main Show

This is where the fun starts for Ubisoft Forward. There was a lot to take in; although we knew a lot of the news from leaks beforehand.

Nevertheless, here are the highlights from the main show:

Immortals: Fenyx Rising

Immortals: Fenyz Rising was the first game Ubisoft announced during the main show. The game releases on December 3, 2020 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, Stadia, and PC including UPLAY+. It will also come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Immortals: Fenyz Rising was formerly known as Gods and Monsters, and it looks like a revamped version of Zelda Breath of The Wild with a little bit of Assassins Creed Odyssey. It’s also a third-person action-adventure that will be coming to all major platforms sometime in the future.

Prince of Persia: Sand of Time

Ubisoft finally announced that its classic game, Prince of Persia: Sand of Time, is getting a remake that will release on January 21, 2020. This remake has been leaked for months now, and fans were hoping September 10th was the day they finally got some official news on it.

Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher Is Added Into Rainbow Six Seige

The biggest season ever of Rainbow Six Seige released on September 10th, and along with it came a brand new character: Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher. We are sure fans of Ubisoft titles are well aware of who this is!

Hyper Scape Is Getting A Turbo Mode

A new and limited-time Turbo Mode is coming to Hyper Scape on September 15th. All gear will be at the maximum fusion level, and health will regenerate faster.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World Is Back

It’s been 10 years since the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game was released. The classic side-scrolled wack-em is making a return for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Stadia this holiday season.

Watch Dogs Legion: New Characters and More

The next installment of the Watch Dogs series has been getting a lot of hype in recent months, and it’s well deserved. The game will allow you to take control of any NPC on the map. This is the first time we have seen a game try out this method.

Watch Dogs Legion is adding award-winning British rapper Stormzy, who will appear in the mission "Fall On My Enemies."
