With $3 million on the line, the pressure is on. Who will crumble and who will prevail as world champions?
The inaugural Fortnite World Cup kicked off yesterday at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City, with over 100 competitors dawning upon the bright lights of New York City all with one goal in mind: win their share of the $30 million prize pool.
Without a doubt the Fortnite World Cup has drawn eyes from all across the world, but before the solo and duos portion commence this weekend, there was another segment of the Fortnite World Cup.
Yesterday we witnessed G FUEL-sponsored player and death run master Cizzorz capture the title as the Fortnite World Cup Creative champion along with the rest of his team, the Fish Fam. We also watched as Airwaks and RL GRIMES dominated the Fortnite Pro-Am to become back-to-back Pro-Am champions. Their total donations to charity are now a staggering $2 million.
Now, we are on the cusp of the most anticipated portion of the Fortnite World Cup and that of course is the duos portion.
